New refrigerant transitions will inevitably shake up the current status quo. And we will have another transition in 2030. Challenging few years ahead with design evolution to counter the additional code requirements but it will be fun to see where we end up! A relatively small “nudge” back to more water cooled HVAC systems seems logical depending on how much red tape they push on builders to mitigate the impacts of the new refrigerant 👍

Engineered Equipment stands are a thing of the very near future. Lot's of municipalities are requiring units to be elevated and those stands must be Engineered. Uni Strut is not Engineered for wind, uplift, shear, snow loads etc. Our system is Engineered and never has to be removed when re roofing.
