Faces of GreenAir, meet Paige Kenyon 👋 Paige is part of our design team, developing innovative solutions to integrate greenery into urban spaces. She aims to deliver the most effective and aesthetically pleasing design solutions to enhance our clients' spaces and well-being. She works closely with architects, interior designers, and other industry professionals to create environments where both people and plants can flourish! Here are a few questions to get to know Paige a little better 👇 What do you love about nature? “From a young age, I have been fascinated by nature and the diversity of plants. From the intricacy of ecosystems that thrive all around us, often unnoticed. To watch how plants adapt and evolve to their environments. This connection to nature continues to inspire and drive my passion.” “I also love the history behind plants and their essential role in supporting human survival throughout the ages. I find stories about the medicinal properties of plants and the ways our ancestors used them fascinating. Equally inspiring is how we are rediscovering and reintroducing these botanical treasures into the modern world, harnessing their benefits in new, innovative ways to enhance our well-being.” What do you love about working at GreenAir? “I am continuously growing and developing my knowledge about plants and how we can reimagine them in urban spaces. It is truly rewarding designing for a client and seeing the plants liven up their spaces.” What do you like to do outside of work? Outside of work, I love being at the beach and exploring new coastal areas. Additionally, one of my favourite activities is visiting op shops to hunt for secondhand treasures. I love the thrill of discovering unique, one-of-a-kind items with history and character.

🌿 Urban Garden Design: Maximizing Every Green Space 🌿 As part of my Procreate course, I worked on this project illustrating an original design by East London Garden Design. What fascinates me most about this exercise is how we can optimize even the smallest urban spaces to incorporate nature and sustainability. 🌱 Reflection on urban gardens: This type of design shows that, with the right planning, any urban corner can be transformed into a functional and aesthetically pleasing green space. Urban gardens not only beautify our cities but also contribute to well-being and sustainability. Continuing to enhance these skills allows me to better visualize how these green spaces can positively impact urban life. What are your thoughts on the importance of maximizing green areas in cities?

https://lnkd.in/gNCqMTaW In this article it reopened my mind to the design aspects of residential design and how you approach these projects in a simple but bold matter. I really liked the tips it gave on how he said "keep connections in between spaces and also find a balance and keep it clean". Last Takeaway was that he mentioned to not get lost in the complicated pattern or complicated colors" but instead use normal shapes and not a wide variety of colors but also just find a good direction.

🌿 The Transformative Power of Light and Greenery in Outdoor Spaces 🌞 Designing outdoor environments goes beyond architecture – it’s about creating experiences. Integrating light and greenery can significantly elevate the aesthetics, offering both visual pleasure and psychological comfort. Here's how: 🌱 Greenery for Serenity Lush plants, vibrant flowers, and vertical gardens soften harsh elements, creating balance. They not only bring life to the space but also promote relaxation and improve air quality. 💡 Lighting for Ambiance Well-placed lighting highlights architectural features, pathways, and focal points, extending usability into the evening. Warm-toned lights foster intimacy, while cooler tones provide clarity and vibrancy. ✨ Green + Light: A Winning Combo When combined, greenery and lighting transform outdoor areas into enchanting retreats. Think fairy lights draped over trees, uplights beneath shrubs, or pergolas illuminated for cozy gatherings. Whether it's a backyard, terrace, or public park – nature and illumination bring unparalleled charm, making the space more inviting and memorable. 🌺 #OutdoorDesign #GreenSpaces #LightingDesign #AestheticAppeal #LandscapeArchitecture #DesignInspiration
