We are tickled ✨green✨ to hard launch our latest Sustainability Report! Since day one, World Centric has always existed to be of service to people in the planet. 🌎 This report outlines that commitment to sustainability and social corporate responsibility across all aspects of our business. Some TLDR highlights: 🧡 We surpassed our renewable energy goals! Over 35% of our supplier spend to manufacturing partners with on-site renewable energy. 🧡 Our 2023 Giving Program funds improved the lives of over 51,000 people living in poverty, protected 194,945 acres of forest, and went to plant 587,587 trees. 🧡 Our employees doubled the amount of paid volunteer time off they used in 2023, making an impact in their local communities. 💬 “The world has a resource paradox. We are running out of resources but simultaneously send resources to landfills. Carrot was created to use data to help solve this waste problem,” says Tine Charlotte Holm, COO of Carrot AS. Carrot was established in 2017 in Bergen, Norway. The company’s cloud-based software accurately tracks waste, generating data that can be used to incentivise people to sort and recycle. After a feasibility study grant from Nopef, Carrot decided to enter the UK market. Carrot already had some great results in Norway but now, British property managers are reducing waste and improving recycling with the Norwegian company’s data gathering and analysis solution. 🔗 Read more about Carrot on: https://lnkd.in/dach7kiZ ℹ️ Nopef, the Nordic Project Fund, is financed by Nordisk Råd og Nordisk Ministerråd and managed by Nefco - the Nordic Green Bank. The fund’s primary objective is to support the internationalisation of Nordic small and medium-sized companies by offering grants for feasibility studies.

Propitas Charging Ahead with Sustainability Since the new year and our successful partnership with the Octopus Electric Vehicles Scheme, our Crawley office have taken the Carbon Footprint “Bull by the Horns” and now operate on a fleet of Teslas. Helping to reduce the overall footprint of our business to a greater extent. "Our transition to electric vehicles is a significant step in our broader sustainability strategy," said Lori Clarke, Director of Propitas, "By embracing clean energy transport, we aim to lead by example and inspire other companies in our industry to take similar action."   The initiative has already garnered positive reactions from both employees and industry partners. Mathew Ward, an Associate at Propitas, expressed his enthusiasm: "Switching to an electric car has been a game-changer for me.
