This is what 114 megawatts in Northern Germany look like 🎉 For many months, we have now been giving you regular insights into the construction of our solar farm in #Borrentin in Northern Germany. Now the time has finally come and we were able to celebrate the commissioning of the 114-megawatt project. 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻! 🌱 We are happy to announce to you that we have signed contracts for the general contracting of three more photovoltaic farms in Poland. This time we will build farms with capacities respectively 🍃 𝟮𝗠𝗪 𝗕𝗼𝗴𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝟯𝗠𝗪 𝗞𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘇𝘆𝗻 𝟲𝗠𝗪 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰 Two of the planned farms will be built using modern single-axis tracker technology. The mentioned installations are scheduled to be connected to the grid in the third and fourth quarters of 2024, respectively. 🌍The signing of these agreements is the next step for us in building independent power plants (IPPs - Independent Power Producer). We aim to change Poland's energy landscape, accelerating the transformation towards a sustainable, green future. 🌍💡 We are proud to share that Tara Esterl, our expert in renewable energy networks, represented AIT at the Annual Conference of the European Technology & Innovation Platform for Photovoltaics (ETIP PV)! 🌞🔋 Tara delivered an inspiring keynote on "Energy Sharing: Building Functional Energy Communities," focusing on the lessons learned and key benefits of energy communities in Austria. 🇦🇹✨ Highlights from the conference included insights from industry leaders like Walburga Hemetsberger (SolarPower Europe), Jochen Kreusel (T&D Europe ), and Lukasz Kolinski (European Commission). The day concluded with Tara Esterl's session on energy sharing, where she shared, "Austria is a pioneer country for energy communities with over 1,000 energy communities. This shows that energy communities are highly interesting for consumers.
