When the pressure is on, the aerospace industry turns to Kevlar®. Many aircraft contain bottles of pressurized oxygen and other gases. Springs are indispensable components in airplanes, serving diverse roles in ensuring safety, comfort, and functionality. 👌 Safety is the top priority in the aerospace sector, and any risk of spring failure is simply not an option - this is why spring testing is crucial. In the past, we've received several springs which were intended for use in the control panel of a plane, which failed during fatigue testing. Pitting corrosion is a localized form of corrosion that creates small, deep holes in metal surfaces, often going unnoticed until significant damage has occurred.
