In 2023, losses to online, e-commerce and remote payments fraud in APAC were over $10 billion, largely from card-not-present (CNP) transactions. At #NGP2024, James Daniels from Fime explains how advanced authentication technologies, including Passkeys, tokenization, and risk-based authentication can address specific vulnerabilities in digital payments by minimizing exposure to stolen credentials, securing sensitive information, and adapting security measures to transaction risk. James will also discuss APAC’s unique fraud prevention challenges, including fragmented regulatory adoption, and draw comparisons with global best practices such as Europe’s PSD2. https://lnkd.in/gC2Hv7kY
