Most people venture into real estate investment in Abuja without understanding the land titles, If you're thinking about buying land in Abuja, it's important to understand the two main types: ᴀᴍᴀᴄ ʟᴀɴᴅ and ꜰᴄᴅᴀ ʟᴀɴᴅ 1. 𝘼𝙈𝘼𝘾 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙙: - Managed by the Abuja Municipal Area Council. - Covers rural and less developed areas. - It’s more affordable but may have fewer development rules and infrastructure. - Comes with a *Right of Occupancy (R of O)*, which isn’t as strong as a government-issued title. 2. 𝙁𝘾𝘿𝘼 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙: - Controlled by the 𝘍𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘈𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺. - Found in central and well-developed areas of Abuja. - More expensive but comes with better infrastructure like roads, electricity, and water. - You’ll get a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), which is a stronger, more secure title from the government. In summary, AMAC land is great if you're looking for cheaper land in developing areas, while FCDA land offers more security and infrastructure, though at a higher price.
