Prompt: “Tell me a joke that’s never been told before in existence by anyone” Claude’s response: # The First-Ever Time Traveler's Restaurant Review The year is 2157, and I've just opened the first restaurant that serves food from every time period in human history. We're talking genuine mastodon steaks from 10,000 BCE, Marie Antoinette's actual cake, and tomorrow's breakfast specials – today! Everything was going great until we got our first online review: "★☆☆☆☆ - Absolutely terrible experience. The mastodon was overcooked by about 12,000 years, my wife's Victorian-era fish and chips arrived three decades before we did, and the waiter served my dessert yesterday. When I asked to speak to the manager, they said they'd get back to me last week. The only positive was the coffee from 2158 – it was ahead of its time. P.S. - To the chef who will be preparing my meal next Tuesday: less salt please." Management's response: "Dear valued customer, we take all feedback seriously, regardless of when it occurs. We've already fixed these issues last month. Please accept our apologies in advance."

Here’s What I’ve Learned From Running Multiple Restaurants for the Past 20 Years: When things get predictable, customers lose interest. - Predictable food. - Predictable service. - Predictable experiences. Consistency matters—but it can also lead to stagnation. That’s where food festivals come in. For me, they’ve been a way to: - Showcase creativity through special dishes and bold themes. - Collaborate with local chefs and highlight regional flavors. - Connect with the community in a way regular menus can’t. Food festivals aren’t just events—they’re opportunities to: Stay relevant. Build excitement. Bring your restaurant back into the spotlight. This approach has worked wonders for my brand. If your restaurant could use a spark, it might work for you too.

Today’s expression: to go overboard Meaning: to do something in a way that is excessive or extreme Example: Despite the restaurant's recommendation to order one or two appetizers, Jake went overboard and ordered five, leaving everyone at the table overwhelmed with food. #AmiableLanguageServices #expressions #languagelearning #teachingyou #goingoverboard

PEOPLE FIRST EAT WITH THEIR EYES .....THEY DO NOT SPARE A BASIC LIKE FOOD, SO WHY WOULD THEY SPARE US?? Presentation matters, it makes everything more believable & justifiable...and who better to teach us this than the Chef at a Michellin Star Restaurant. Lesson learnt while enjoying food at this Italian- Asian fusion restaurant in Vietnam. At every meeting/occasion, present yourself well, dress up for your ' ROLE & GOAL' look believable, ...and watch how your business pitch is better digested!! #PeopleFirst #PresentationMatters #DressForSuccess #RoleAndGoal #BusinessPitch #VisualImpact #StyleToSell #ImpressionMatters #MichelinMagic #PowerOfPerception

3 Tips to Keep Dishes Clean 1. Keep Cups Wrangled. One cold beverage cup and one hot beverage cup each daily. 2. Do the Dish! Your sinking isn't a holding area for dirty dishes. It's a work station! 3. Morning or Night. Choose a time to wrangle your sink! What did I miss?

Is Breakfast an Untapped Goldmine for Your Restaurant? 🥞 Breakfast isn’t just for diners and coffee shops anymore—it’s a growing opportunity for all types of restaurants. Here’s why: Lower Food Costs: Eggs, toast, and pancakes are high-margin items. Loyal Crowds: Morning regulars are often more consistent than dinner guests. Upsell Opportunities: Specialty coffee, smoothies, or mimosa flights can boost checks. Adding a breakfast menu (even a limited one) could bring in a whole new crowd. Have you considered serving breakfast? #BreakfastMenu #RestaurantRevenue #GrowthOpportunities #CulinaryTrends

Once upon a time there was a brunch restaurant... 🥞 ✨ The restaurant was closing soon, so they decided to serve their final pancake-craving customer with the biggest pancake they'd ever seen. It was their last order of the day, so the cook thought "Why not? I'll just use the rest of the batter for their order. It's going in the trash, anyways!" It was the customer's first time dining at the restaurant. They LOVED their pancake. "This is the biggest pancake I've ever SEEN!" they'd exclaimed, gleefully. That next Sunday, they came back to the restaurant - this time bringing their friends & family for the occasion. Everyone ordered 1 pancake. When their food came out they all looked at their plates disappointingly, then over to their friend questioningly. Nothing stings worse than being hyped up about a killer meal, only to be brought out one normal-sized pancake! 😢 This is a real story. I was the manager called to the table to explain the situation to the customer who had only dined with us twice & was threatening never to return (alongside 8 other brand new customers!). This is a story about the importance of #consistency in a business model, level setting #expectations, & celebrating with your clients when you #exceed those expectations (as opposed to acting like they're the norm). This translates SO WELL to the #businessdevelopment space. Does anyone else have a pancake story? How did you handle it? Did it build or break trust? 🤔 💭

In the restaurant business, consistency is king. It's what keeps 'em coming back for more, time and time again. But how do you achieve that coveted level of consistency? The secret sauce lies in having rock-solid systems and standards in place. We're talking clear, concise, and easy-to-follow guidelines that leave no room for error. From food prep to service, every step should be a well-choreographed dance. And here's the kicker – your systems need to be teachable. Because at the end of the day, it's your team that brings the magic to life. So, get those systems dialed in, and watch as your restaurant becomes a well-oiled machine, churning out consistent deliciousness with every order. That's the recipe for success, baby! Click the link in the bio if you're ready to up your consistency game! #Systems #Standards #Consistency
