💙 There are moments that truly touch the soul, and this was one of them. Recently, the TraceWorthy team welcomed a very special visitor—Cevrina, the mother of our beloved Founder. Although our Founder has been managing the company from abroad for most of the year, Cevrina travelled all the way from Australia to personally express her gratitude to the TraceWorthy team for holding the fort and taking care of her daughter and the company. The visit was filled with an overwhelming display of mutual appreciation and genuine warmth. The team, deeply moved by Cevrina’s gesture, showered her with gifts, bringing tears of joy to everyone present. In return, she presented gifts from Australia and treated the entire team, including the housekeeping staff, to a heartfelt lunch outing. There were shared laughs and even a few joyful tears during a surprise video call with our Founder, making it a truly unforgettable day. This visit was more than just a gesture of thanks. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of trust, loyalty, and authentic relationships. 🥇PIABO Communications Named Most Wanted Employer 2024 in Marketing by ZEIT ONLINE 🥇 This recognition holds special significance for me. It marks the first time a company is being honored during my tenure as Head of People and Culture. In September I stepped into the overall responsibility for all things People related at PIABO, where Steffen Beck laid a more than solid foundation for a special culture. We first met over ten years ago at diffferent, and I trust him immensely. Now my team and I have the chance to help nurture the PIABO vision set forth by Daniela and Tilo, who consistently embody our #values and are always open to being challenged. What I've learned so far in the last 9 month: 👉 Letting go of things is a superpower. 👉 Stepping out of your comfort zone is hard but helps. 👉 Change is the only constant. Flexibility is key. 👉 Most of today's frustrations, anxieties or problems are gone in a few days. 👉 Clear expectation management is the most powerful tool in leadership, even if it hurts sometimes. So, being number one does not mean being perfect. No #organization ever will be. But consistently working towards your vision and making #decisions aligned with it every single day is what makes a number one. It's like in sports: #discipline is key. Last week we took part in the yearly B2 Run event in Berlin around the olympic stadium 🏅 . As an active lifestyle is part of our culture it was very organic how Hilke Decker took the lead 🙋♀️ to be our trainer for about a month before the race. Our fitness levels were different, nevertheless we, again organically, created a space for everyone to find their baseline and push for that personal goal. Individuality within the group. 🙌 You dont get that from your CEO's annual strategy meeting. Or maybe you do but acting on it comes more from a place of conformity than from acceptance and believe. Culture is certainly a fluid and tricky concept to shape. After this week I understood that I should not underestimate its relevance. Celebrating International Men’s Day at ShipGlobal! 🎉 What an unforgettable day we had at ShipGlobal celebrating International Men’s Day! From high-energy challenges to some well-deserved treats, our office truly came alive with excitement and camaraderie. 💥 We kicked off the celebration with a scavenger hunt where two Hot Wheels toy cars were hidden around the office. The hunt was on, and everyone raced to find them — turning our workspace into a mini adventure zone! 🏎️💨 But that was just the beginning! The Tug of War challenge took it to the next level. The competition was fierce, and when the rope finally snapped, there was no doubt who the true champions were! 💪 Victory was claimed, but the real win was in the team spirit that everyone displayed. To top it all off, we treated ourselves to some delicious snacks, fueling us for more moments of laughter and connection. 🥳 It’s days like these that remind us how important it is to celebrate together, build stronger bonds, and create an inclusive, positive work environment where everyone can thrive.
