Green Energy Group’s Post

Starting in 2027, solar panels will be a requirement for new constructions and publicly owned buildings over 2,000 square meters. By 2028, this threshold will drop to 750 square meters, and similar requirements will apply to renovations outside the residential sector. 🏘️ While this shift towards sustainable building practices is crucial, it also presents challenges, particularly with traditional crystalline solar panels. This is where thin-film technology, specifically CIGS, comes into play. 💡 A technology that enables the installation of solar panels where weight is a challenge, such as on steel roofs and roofing felt, while also delivering a lower CO2 footprint. 🌱 🌎 Curious to learn more about integrating sustainable solutions into our architecture? Join us for the seminar "Sustainability and New Architecture with Building-Integrated Solar Panels," where Jens Sørensen will share his insights and expertise. The event will be held at the Aarhus School of Architecture and is organized by Solar City Denmark. 🔗 Read more about the event and other speakers here: https://shorturl.at/vC9MY #sustainablearchitecture #greenbuilding #solarcity #sustainableconstruction
