The expansion project at SiCrystal is set to revolutionize the production of SiC wafers with the addition of a new building that will provide an extra 6,000 square meters of production space. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the new facility aims to enhance the efficiency and quality of SiC wafer production. The strategic location of the new building, in close proximity to the existing plant, will facilitate seamless integration of production processes, ensuring optimal output.
By 2027, the total production capacity, inclusive of the current building, is projected to triple compared to the levels recorded in 2024. This significant increase in capacity signals a promising future for SiCrystal and underscores the company's commitment to meeting the growing demand for high-performance semiconductor components.
