📢 Empowering Talent: A Commitment to Gender Equity 📢 ‘Talent has no boundaries' - a powerful mantra echoing from Ross Conlon, President & CEO of Siemens Thailand. Fostering a corporate environment where talent knows no boundaries is not just a goal but a necessity. It's about recognizing and harnessing the immense potential that exists within every individual, regardless of gender, background, or circumstance. 🔑 This involves not only ensuring equal opportunities for women but also addressing the unconscious biases that can influence decision-making processes and hinder their advancement. 🌈 By embracing diversity and inclusivity, we not only enrich our workplaces but also pave the way for a brighter, more equitable future for all. #GenderEquity #TalentSearch #RossConlon #EmpowerWomen

🌍 Bringing about Change while working on Sustainability, Gender Equity, and Inclusion 🌍 The terms sustainability, gender equity, and inclusion are not merely marketing phrases as they underpin any social initiative worthy of its name. My project idea embraces those pillars because all the positive changes will be long lasting and empowering for everyone. Sustainability: We seek to design initiatives that address the current needs without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their needs by concentrating on the scalable solutions that are also environmentally friendly. Gender Equity: Promoting one gender over the other impedes productivity since there will tons of ideas that are denied a fair chance simply because of the ideas proposing them. Inclusion: Designing a project that includes and caters for people from all walks of life helps us to improve the scope of the project as well as help the communities. These pillars work together, bringing about a comprehensive strategy where no one is left voiceless, no one is useless, and the actions taken are purposeful. And let’s put those principles into action in our work so that we can make a positive difference in the society! 🌱 #Sustainability #Inclusion #GenderEquity #Impact #LearningSprintIOCYL

As we reflect on the 2024 Women in the Workplace report from Lean In and McKinsey & Company, it's evident that while progress has been made, significant challenges remain, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Key insights include: * Slow Progress: Achieving gender parity in leadership roles is still a distant goal. At the current pace, it will take nearly 50 years to reach gender equality across corporate sectors. In Asia, where cultural nuances often influence workplace dynamics, this timeline can be even longer for women of colour. * Representation Gaps: Although women occupy 42% of leadership roles in Singapore, the broader Asia-Pacific region lags behind, with only 31% of senior management positions held by women in mid-market businesses. This disparity highlights the need for targeted efforts to elevate women's voices and roles in leadership. * Cultural Barriers: The report emphasises that many women still face systemic obstacles that hinder their advancement. This is particularly pronounced in sectors like finance and technology, where traditional norms often dictate hiring and promotion practices. At TENTEN Partners, we are committed to championing diversity and inclusion across the Asia-Pacific landscape. We believe that fostering an environment where women can thrive not only benefits organisations but also drives innovation and growth throughout the region. #WomenInLeadership #DiversityAndInclusion #GenderEquality #TENTENPartners #AsiaPacific

#Diversity is a solution, it brings another dimensions to #innovation, more tools to execute, more experience and more critical thinking to any business processes. Gender diversity is even more important because it is very close to us, to every society no matter how diverse it is, to every family and every community and beyond other impact metrics, it brings unquestionable and tangible value to every organization and ultimately to the whole ecosystem. I am glad to be invited to the Innovation Zone to discuss about this and other topics at World Future Energy Summit with Adrienne Doolan, Roberta Calarese, Chada El Islam Benmahcene and Suresh Lalwani. #genderdiversity #womeninvc #womenangels #womenfounders #womeninvestors

Sustainability, gender, and inclusion are critical pillars in any project or proposed solution because they ensure long-term positive impact, equitable opportunities, and comprehensive social benefits. Here's why each is important: 1. Sustainability: Sustainability is essential to ensure that the project or solution doesn’t only have a short-term impact but also benefits future generations. By prioritizing sustainability, we can address environmental, economic, and social challenges in ways that preserve resources, minimize waste, and create systems that are resilient and adaptable. This ensures the project’s outcomes are lasting and contribute to a healthier planet and society over time. 2. Gender: Gender equality is crucial because it ensures that the voices, needs, and contributions of all genders are recognized and valued. Projects that prioritize gender equity can help to reduce disparities in access to resources, opportunities, and decision-making. This not only promotes fairness but also taps into the full potential of all participants, improving the overall impact of the project. Additionally, gender-responsive solutions can address specific challenges faced by different genders, particularly in marginalized or underserved communities. 3. Inclusion: Inclusion focuses on ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their background, abilities, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, have access to opportunities and can participate meaningfully in the project. Inclusive practices promote diversity, enrich perspectives, and lead to more innovative and effective solutions. By embedding inclusion, we ensure that no one is left behind and that the benefits of the project are shared across all segments of society, fostering social cohesion and equity. Together, these pillars align with broader global goals, such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and help to build solutions that are more equitable, sustainable, and impactful in the long run. #LearningSprintIOCYL
