YOUR BOND IS EVERYTHING The bond you have with your dog directly affects your personal and working relationship. Here’s my client’s dog Luna. You can see the look in her eyes. She’s loving the affection. She’s focusing on me. She’s engaged with me. As a result of our bond: ✔️ She does her obedience better. ✔️ She executes her commands faster. ✔️She stays around me as much as possible. ✔️She looks forward to seeing me everytime. ✔️She does the right thing for her reward. ✔️Training is a source of joy for her ✔️ She knows she can trust me. ✔️She knows that I’m a source of good in her life. This is why I always talk about bonding with your dog. Without a great bond: ❌ You lack synergy as a team without this bond. ❌ More mistakes are made. ❌Training become frustrating. ❌ Precious time is wasted. ❌ You become demotivated. ❌Training becomes a chore. ❌ Onedience training inevitably stops. -Marc Windgassen No Drive… No Joy #DogTraining #dogs

Mission Success with Luna The Bully Our client saw our video of Raffa the Dachshund and requested to teach Luna to do the same! Much to our surprise we got her to do the “Boowww” command in just a few attempts. You can hear the sheer happiness in our client’s voice😁. I wasn’t sure that we’d get it done with our first attempt but we got it done. I leverage Luna’s food drive to get her to do this trick. This is why I keep on stressing on my Three Pillars of Dog Training: 1. Engagement 2. Trust 3. Drive Leveraging all three lays the foundation for great obedience and sets you up for success. If you’d like to get your dog to do this trick, reply with “TRICK”. We’ll chat and see if it’s a fit. -Marc Windgassen No Drive… No Joy #DogTraining #Tricks #Obedience #dogs

Mastering the "Stay" Command The sit command is pretty basic, right? Even though it's a beginning command, it is oh-so-important and comes in handy as your dog grows. (Save this post for future reference!) Here are some tips to help your pup master their "Stay" command: ✨ Start with short intervals—ask them to stay for just a few seconds, then gradually increase the time as they get better. ✨ Help them learn the movement they should make by guiding them gently with your hand (don't push but be gentle!)! ✨ Celebrate their success! When they stay put, shower them with praise and a tasty treat. Positive reinforcement works wonders! ✨ Practice in different locations to help them learn to "Stay" no matter where you are. This helps build focus and reliability! Keep practicing and watch your furry friend become a "Stay" master! 🐾🦴 #boisepetsitters #petsitting #pettraining #dogs #cats #boisedogs #boisecats #catsitting #boiseidaho

“She was powerful not because she wasn’t scared but because she went on so strongly, despite the fear.” And so Torah the #dutchshepherd had her go....Torah nailed this first time without any training and without any resets. When I first did this with Roxy a few weeks back I had to run the last few blocks to keep her going to the end. If you wondered who was fastest...I timed Torah just over a second faster. I hope you've enjoyed these videos. To achieve what goes on here we need: Advanced Agility;🚀 Advanced Obedience;🧠 Ability to stay in position with handler walking over 200 metres away;⚓️ Recall but performing the complexity of understanding the recall must be done through jumping not jumping onto the sand and pegging it down the beech.🔬🧠 We work with all levels of dogs, finding suitable goals for EVERYONE. For some a big goal is performing something like this, for others it's to enjoy walking past another dog in a calm manner. We will support you to meet your goals and achieve your dreams no matter what and to help you be the best dog owner you can be. 🥰 "Enriching Dogs Lives" #dogtraining #dogtrainer

🐶 5 Life Lessons I Learned From My Dog - What dogs know that we don’t!!! 1. Bark less. Wag more. Bark when you need to. Speak up. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Don’t hesitate to let others know when you need their assistance. 2. Learn to take everything in stride & shake it off just like my dog does after a bath. Don’t hold grudges or stay stuck in issues –Move on to your next adventure. It’s a Big world out there. 3. Don’t hold back good things & keep score. Give what you want to give – even if someone doesn’t deserve it. That will make You happy & fulfilled. 4. Give unconditional positive regard in every situation. It’s a blast! Then go on & lick your wounds if you have to – but don’t let anyone or anything limit you. 5. Life is a lot of fun if you lean into it. Even the meanest person loves puppies. Everyone has a gentle side and cares about something. Be genuine and tap into that. You’ll be amazed. #lifelessons #learning #growth #perspective #dogs #wisdom
