Healthy companies strive to create the foundation for wellbeing. in their people, their teams, their organization and for our planet. As noted in the post below, one of Vivek Murthy's pillars for a healthier world is: The quality of our CONNECTIONS with people. Jeffrey Beeson MBA/MA's new book NETWORK LEADERSHIP Promoting a Healthier World through the Power of Networks (Cambridge University Press 2025) offers an insight for leaders throughout an organization who aspire to cultivate a healthier organization: "...leaders need to focus on the health of the broad spectrum of networks which they serve - whether it be the health of individuals, teams, clusters, or outside stakeholders such as communities, business ecosystems, and the environment. " This is the true WHY of leadership. #wellbeing #connections #leadership #wellbeingatwork #compassion Healthy Minds Innovations
As we reflect on Dr. Vivek Murthy's tenure as Surgeon General, his "Parting Prescription for America" offers a transformative vision for fostering a healthier world. 🌏 He reminds us to choose love over fear, emphasizing that "the foundation of our wellbeing is the strength of our connections to each other and our communities." At its heart are three foundational pillars: ✦ Relationships: The quality of our connections shapes our wellbeing. Meaningful relationships are a source of joy and can act as a foundation for resilience. ✦ Service: Acts of service not only uplift others but also nourish our own health. Service connects us to a greater purpose and fosters community strength. ✦ Purpose: Living with purpose provides clarity and resilience. It’s linked to lower risks of chronic illness, reduced anxiety, and greater fulfillment. Read the full prescription here ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/e-dSe6W2

Laughter can be the first step to transforming a room filled with fear into a space where hope and play can bloom. When Nika (our beloved healthcare clown) enters a room, she doesn’t just create laughter and unforgettable memories; she also plants a seed—a seed of play, connection, and humanity that lingers long after her visit. When we leave a room, our impact remains. It’s that spark that transforms emotions tied to illness and hospitals into something different—more bearable, more human, and warmer. this is one of our objectives this is part of our misión do you imagine this in all the hospitals?? #BigSmilesIndia #LeavingMarks #HospitalClowns #TransformingEmotions #HumanizingHealthcare #HumanizingHealthcare #humorforlife #emotionalsupportthroughhumor #holisticCare #palliativeCare #love #respect #dignity #limits #bigsmilesngo

The rising prevalence of Mental health conditions (depression is a leading cause of disability globally), the gap on access to adequate, available, affordable, culturally concordant/personalized mental health services, and the burden that mental illness places on individuals, communities and the economy make it imperative to raise awareness about mental health issues and to create solutions to ease the mental health crisis. Increasing #MentalHealthLiteracy, specially among those with other health literacy gaps, is a first step. Advanced Primary Care improves health literacy by utilizing a culturally competent approach that prioritizes patient engagement through education, and personalizing care to each patients’ needs. It helps patients grasp how their unique circumstances affect their health and fosters more in-depth conversations and opportunities to address misunderstandings or clarify medical myths. The relationship built in the APC model seeks to empower the patient to take active role in their care. This empowerment improves health literacy as patients are encouraged to ask questions, to engage in shared decision-making, and to become advocates for their own health and healthcare. #healthequity, #healthcareaccess, #mentalhealthforall, #patientagency, #healthliteracy, #Advancedprimarycare, #apreehealth
