Oisin, I appreciate your valuable report and feedback from our round table discussion at The World Hydrogen Summit 2024 in Rotterdam. As a supplier of hydrogen, I regularly encounter what is often referred to as the "chicken egg scenario," which has prompt me to explore downstream applications like Green Steel, Iron Fuel, and heavy mobility. I strongly believe these elements should become fundamental components of our potential funding models, alongside other financing approaches. Rather than exclusively focusing on funding and developing hydrogen, it is imperative that we collectively shift our focus towards integrating industries into the funding equation. This approach ensures that industries become integral off-takers within the entire hydrogen value chain. These ideas of us are presented as a creative strategy to achieve a zero carbon footprint, not just by being hydrogen suppliers, but by collectively involving industries in our comprehensive collaboration model.

Here are some key takeaways from the summit: 🌟 #Türkiye is leading the way as the first G20 country to adopt the ISSB reporting standard (TSRS). 📜 The draft for the #Climate Law, setting the framework for combating climate change, is expected to become law within a year. Taxonomy legislation is also in the works to manage revenue from the emission trading system, impacting the industrial sector in 2025. 🤝 With Türkiye Country Partnership Framework (CPF) signed by The World Bank, a total of $18 billion in financing is aimed at fostering sustainable and impact-oriented growth over the next 4 years. Türkiye ranks 2nd among countries receiving World Bank investments. 🔋 The EBRD surpassed its commitment to make 50% of its investments green by 2025, achieving 58% last year. There’s also a growing need for investments in innovative technologies. The EBRD projects $70 billion in investments in carbon capture and hydrogen for the iron and steel, cement, aluminum, and fertilizer sectors. 🌱It's inspiring to witness such significant strides towards sustainability and innovation.
