My dear yoga teacher’s mantra is: ‘First see the good’ I always took this as an outward command - first, see the good in others. And, what if he is also inviting me to see the good within. Because, if I have the capacity to identify the good externally, there must be something within me that already knows the good. The good is also in myself. What if the good we see is already within? Ready for a change in how you see yourself? Comment ‘TLM’ to discover how the Liberation Method can transform your journey from external validation to authentic leadership and deep personal fulfillment. #seethegood #youaregood

In another part of my life, I am a yoga teacher and co-own a yoga studio in Wasaga Beach. In teaching yoga I remind my students and community of many of the same seeds I plant through leadership coaching. Like, Everything is Figureoutable! 🌱 Whatever challenges you’re facing, remind yourself of this. Not in an effort to care less, but to take pause and remember nothing is permanent and you have many gifts and many tools to see you through 🌱 #stressmanagement #overwhelm #challenges #leadership #teammorale #leadershipcoach #workshopfacilitator #publicspeaker

A Leadership Lesson I Learned Through Yoga Yoga isn’t just about flexibility—it’s about presence. During one session, my instructor said, “Focus on your breath, and the pose will follow.” That line stayed with me, reminding me to lead with calm focus instead of force. In life and work, leadership often starts with presence. 👉 Have you found leadership lessons in unexpected places? Share them in the comments!

Life always shows up in my leadership. My leadership also shows up in my life. As a yoga teacher, I know the benefits of yoga. Today is World Meditation Day. 🙏 Equanimity, by definition, is mental calmness and composure. You can use this daily in life and in your leadership. All the amazing leaders who choose to work with me master the art of heart by mastering equanimity. A few deep breaths daily to calm the mind do the body good! We all have a few minutes to 'escape' the hustle and bustle of schedules, meetings, phone calls, etc. When was the last time you took time to breathe and were aware that you were doing so? What's in your playbook? #heartcentered #leadership #imperfect #equanimity #taketimetobreathe #leadershipcoach #yogateacher #organizationalculture #globalleadershipcoaching

Embracing Karma Yoga in Leadership I was reading My Gita and thought of sharing this insight: We often strive to control every aspect of our work—our actions, the outcomes, and sometimes even the actions of others. In doing so, we attempt to create a predictable and manageable world around us. But what if true power lies not in control, but in letting go of the need to control outcomes? In the concept of Karma Yoga, we are encouraged to act without attachment to results. Our focus should be on doing the work, staying committed to the process, and allowing the results to take care of themselves. This approach helps us cultivate resilience and purpose, especially in a leadership role. In business and life, success isn’t always about controlling the outcome—it’s about putting forth our best effort with integrity and trusting the process. Let’s shift from control to purpose, from expectation to intention. How do you embrace this mindset in your leadership or personal journey? #Leadership #Mindset #KarmaYoga #CorporateLife #PurposeDriveni

What if yoga sutra can teach you about some critical lessons of #leadership and decision making? I came across this quote in 2012 when I was training to be a #yoga teacher in a school in Rishikesh. I never taught yoga professionally but that chapter of my life influenced several other areas including my thinking as a #coach and my views on leadership. You can turn your practice on the mat into a self -coaching session. I think I do that all the time. What do you think? Tell me in the comments below.
