One of the reasons that Foreign Exchange leaves Trinidad and Tobago, and also the wider Caribbean...is actually a marketing problem. Your business cannot be found online where people conduct their search. How many times have you Googled a problem you are facing and none of the information, products, services that came up in the search where from Caribbean businesses? Happens every single day! This is where marketers are failing the businesses and also contributing to the Forex Leakage. If we Google/Bing a product...and you don't show up...but any of the global e-commerce businesses do...We will simply add to cart, buy and have it delivered to our doorstep. In 2025...Businesses need to do much better because your customers aren't going to spend hours hunting for a local business or waiting days/weeks for you to respond online. Don't believe me? Just ask all the SkyBox companies how much they have grown over the years because of all of the online sales...and much of these sales is simply because we couldn't find your local business.
