Dubai 🇦🇪 Is it really as easy to get hired in Dubai as it seems? Let’s talk reality. Dubai is often seen as a land of opportunities, but the truth is, securing a job here with a good offer comes with its challenges. Many companies offer salaries that don’t match the high cost of living, leaving professionals struggling to make ends meet. On top of that, there’s the issue of work visas. While the UAE prides itself on being a hub for global talent, not all employers provide work visas promptly. Some candidates end up waiting months before their visa is processed, working under uncertain and stressful conditions. #Dubai

Thinking of Working in a Free Zone with a Dubai Golden Visa? Here’s What You Need to Know If you hold a property-linked Golden Visa issued in Dubai and are considering an advisory or consultancy role with a Dubai free zone company, here’s some guidance: Golden Visa holders working for free zone companies do not require a work permit from the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE), as MOHRE permits are only for mainland employment. It’s essential to ensure compliance with the specific requirements of the free zone for seamless onboarding. 🚩 Important Update 🚩 : You can no longer have multiple shareholder visas in a Dubai company...! If you’re setting up a company in Dubai, this new rule could impact your visa plans. Dubai Immigration - General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has announced that each company is now limited to just one investor or partner visa, aligning free zones with the recent policies implemented on the mainland. Here’s what it means for companies with multiple shareholders: - Investor/Partner Visa: Only one visa will be issued per company. Alternatives: - Manager Visa: Ideal for the second shareholder, particularly for non-degree holders. - Employee Visa: Other shareholders can apply for employee visas. For managerial or senior roles, an attested degree is required. - Setup in another Emirate: if the shareholder status and visa is important look at other alternatives in the 6 other Emirates of the UAE - Golden Visa: Get yourself a golden visa through deposit, real estate or as a skilled professional for 10 years. This means you need to plan around this if you were planning to do multiple shareholder visas, not a big pain but necessary to adjust your plans and office/visa allocation plans. Key Aspects of UAE Amnesty: 1. Eligibility: The amnesty program encompasses both residency visa and tourist visa holders. 2. Benefits: Upon application for amnesty, absconding and travel bans will be immediately lifted, allowing individuals to resolve their overstay fines. 3. Conditions for Fine Waiver: Overstay fines will be nullified upon application for amnesty, provided that the individual either secures an employment offer or departs the country. In the latter case, there will be no ban on re-entry to the UAE. However, it is essential to note that individuals cannot remain in the country without a job offer, as it is necessary for changing their legal status to a valid residency. 4. Limitations: The amnesty program exclusively addresses immigration-related issues. Consequently, it does not extend to other matters, such as debt, rental disputes, labor cases, or criminal convictions. Individuals with such issues will need to resolve them independently, as the amnesty program does not provide coverage in these areas.
