Today is the Glenn Anderson Day of Golf for the Cross Cancer Institute, and we need your help! Learn more and donate: https://lnkd.in/edGAXEUR Every year, thousands of Albertans hear the life-altering words, "You have cancer." Almost everyone has a friend or family member who has been touched by cancer. In #Alberta, the four most common cancers are soft tissue cancers: breast, prostate, colorectal, and lung cancer. While significant progress has been achieved in cancer care, together, we have the chance to fund a huge step forward in treating solid tumour cancers, and we need your help. In the past 39 years, The Cure Cancer Foundation’s Day of Golf has raised over $17 million to support cancer research and treatment. This year's funding will go toward the purchase and installation of an MR-Sim at the Cross Cancer Institute. This cutting-edge device will dramatically improve doctors' ability to treat soft-tissue cancers by providing clearer, more precise imaging. We're asking for one-time donations of $70 to help bring this life-saving equipment to patients at the Cross Cancer Institute as quickly as possible.
