Glad to have attended the 15th Clean Energy Ministerial and 9th Mission Innovation Ministerial at Foz do Iguacu. Highlights of the Joint Ministerial Statement.: - A Call to Action for Power Systems Solutions outlines concrete actions and goals that the CEM power workstreams and the MI Green Power Future Mission can implement to support investments in a sustainable, secure and resilient power sector infrastructure and system.The Call to Action will help make progress towards the global goals of tripling of renewable energy and doubling energy efficiency by 2030. - The launch of the Gt by 2030 Campaign, a joint effort of the CEM Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage Initiative and MI’s Carbon Dioxide Removal Mission, supports the acceleration of carbon management solutions to gigatonne scale by 2030. - CEM and MI workstreams announced commitments to support a just and inclusive transition. A joint event with the G20 Energy Transitions and Women Empowerment working groups highlighted the important role of women in clean energy transitions. A new Implementing Inclusivity framework, developed by the CEM's Equality Initiative and MI's newly launched Inclusivity Catalyst, intends to strengthen CEM and MI’s work on inclusivity and representation at CEM and MI events. At #AlphaESS, we're electrifying our efforts to driving sustainability forward. Today, we are thrilled to announce the publication of AlphaESS 2023 Sustainability Report, highlighting our commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement. In 2023, we revitalized our global headquarters into a green, low-carbon Park. We installed rooftop photovoltaic systems totaling 1.45 MW, generating around 330,400 kWh of clean electricity from October 2023 to the end of the year, equivalent to cutting emissions by about 272.25 tons of CO2e. Additionally, we independently developed the "Low-Carbon Smart Park Platform" combining energy management, intelligent devices, and security management, which optimizes energy use, reduces energy expenses, and supports regional grid stability. Meanwhile, we actively participate in energy storage projects, supporting global efforts to secure dependable energy supply. In the projects located in Gansu Province and Kubuqi Desert, our energy storage systems have contributed over 72 million kWh of annual discharge capacity, ensuring grid stability and enhancing the quality of life in remote areas. Furthermore, we attend the SEforALL meeting, engaging in constructive dialogues with NGOs on advancing new energy developments in Africa and transforming energy structures. Alongside with our environmental initiatives, we actively promoted philanthropic efforts and established the AlphaESS Fund to help students in remote areas access education. At AlphaESS, sustainability is not just a commitment but a guiding principle in everything we do. We will continue to innovate and collaborate towards a greener, more sustainable future with all our stakeholders who share our vision.
