What do you mean, "the Head of Product doesn’t create the product vision"? 🤔 That’s right! The product vision originates from the company’s founder: they’re the ones who identify a problem, envision a solution, and define the product’s future. The Head of Product’s role is to transform this vision into something actionable: refining, communicating, and evolving it alongside the team, while integrating insights gained during execution. 🚀 Calling all visionary Product Managers! 🚀 In the realm of innovation, there are no limits, only opportunities waiting to be seized! Just like the timeless melody of "Mamma Mia" by ABBA, which has touched generations, imagine the possibilities when you harness the power to transform a commodity into a revolutionary new product (Mama Mia never was a commodity though but maybe one of the top 100 played songs worldwide). I celebrate the spirit of reinvention as a new rendition of "Mamma Mia" is taking the world by storm, championed by a fresh voice that resonates with audiences worldwide. This isn't just another twisted version; it's a testament to the magic of reimagining the familiar into something extraordinary. As Product Managers, we possess the unique ability to breathe new life into the ordinary, to see beyond what exists and envision what could be. Whether it's redefining user experiences, revolutionizing industry standards, or crafting products that evoke emotions, our journey is about pioneering change and shaping the future. So, to the next generation of Product Managers, I invite you to embrace innovation fearlessly, to dare to dream bigger, and to transform the mundane into the magnificent. You can rewrite the playbook, disrupt the status quo, and leave an indelible mark on the world. The stage is set, and the world awaits your symphony of innovation! 🎶✨ #ProductManagement #Innovation #Transformation #Inspiration #MammaMia #FutureLeaders

We're getting closer! On March 27th at 8am Pacific, 11am Eastern, 3pm UK, and 4pm European time, I'm hosting "The Four Hour Product Vision Sprint." Come check it out! https://lnkd.in/eNg9Ek2E I call the Product Vision "the beating heart of any great product." It does so many great things for your product. It let's you: * Build better products * Scale without too much process * Motivate and inspire your team * Drive strategy * Aligns people * Helps recruit * Eases prioritization discussions Wow. That's a lot. And to accomplish all of that, you need more than a one line slogan. Don't get me wrong. One-line slogans are great. They are a step in the right direction, but if you want the full benefits of all those things above, you need more. Come find out what more looks like #productvision #strongproduct #learningandgrowth

🔥 No money for product development? Building a platform with almost zero budget was one of my most challenging yet rewarding experiences. We were forced to innovate within strict boundaries, with every feature scrutinized for its direct value to our users. This approach taught us invaluable lessons: 👉 Customer-needs drive development: every feature resulted from listening closely to our users, ensuring we only built what was truly needed. 👉 Prioritization is critical: we adopted a lean mindset, focusing on must-have features first to maximize impact with minimal resources. 👉 Creativity thrives under pressure: constraints pushed us to find innovative solutions that might not have emerged otherwise. This journey reaffirmed that limitations can lead to a more focused and successful product. Have you faced similar constraints? How did they shape your product? #innovation #productmanagement #leanstartup

🌟 Unlocking Success with the North Star Framework 🌟 For product managers, leads and owners navigating the complex landscape of product development, the North Star Framework offers a guiding light. It's a strategic approach designed to streamline efforts and drive sustainable growth. Identify Your North Star Metric: Define the key metric that captures the product's core value. This metric serves as a beacon, guiding the team towards the ultimate goal. Set Clear Targets: Establish ambitious yet achievable goals aligned with clear business objectives and product outcomes. These targets provide direction and motivation for your team to strive towards. Align Cross-Functional Teams: Foster collaboration among teams to work towards a shared vision. By aligning engineering, design, marketing, and other departments, everyone moves in sync towards the same goal. Iterate and Iterate: Continuously refine strategy based on insights and feedback (feedback loop). Product development is an iterative process, and regularly reviewing and adjusting your approach is key to staying on track. Share your experiences with the North Star Framework! Great learning experience for me at NextLeap with Arindam Mukherjee #productmanagement #northstarmetric #productsuccess #digitalproductdesign
