Last week, Joca had the pleasure of participating in the 19th Capixaba Project Management Seminar, invited by the PMI (Project Management Institute) of Espírito Santo, to lead a workshop on Product Vision and Strategy! During the workshop, the group discussed essential topics in product management, including business models, the complexity of operating in different segments (B2C, B2B, SMBs, and large companies), product culture, and digital maturity. We also explored the differences between product and platform with practical examples, assessing marketplace dynamics and their growth potential. It was a day full of knowledge and networking! Lots going on this season - I'm looking forward to the upcoming PMI Champlain Valley symposium on Oct 2nd. I hope you can join us for the full day of topics - its a diverse and interesting mix great presentations and discussions. My topic is "From Chaos to Confidence: The 6 Pillars Project Leadership Framework" The 6 Pillars Framework describes the power skills required to effectively lead teams and projects rather than simply manage them. The best project managers feel compelled and empowered to lead - regardless of their title or where they sit in the organizational chart. Leadership is so pivotal to successful project management that I believe we should change the job title to “Project Leader.” Project leaders inspire, influence, communicate, collaborate, guide, organize, and navigate. They bring the organization along on the journey with them as they deliver on projects. They build successful teams that generate successful outcomes. What if you could confidently lead your team, boost engagement and accountability & increase your influence to create unstoppable momentum so you can accelerate your results & boost outcomes for your organization? Join us on Oct 2nd to learn about the steps you need to take to confidently lead, empower and elevate your team. You will walk away with clarity on what you need to do to boost your and your team’s performance. Registration link in the post below. Hope to see you there! #projectmanagement #leadershipdevelopment #newgrangeway

Welcome to the #ProjectEconomy! I attended an insightful webinar yesterday organized by PMI Germany Chapter e.V., focusing on #projectmanagement tools and techniques, with an emphasis on Project Management Institute's (PMI's) resources. Thanks to John Oyewole from PMI Europe, for leading the session and providing a detailed orientation. Here are my two key takeaways from the session: 1️⃣ Endless #Learning Resources: Being a PMI member opens access to an abundance of resources on project management. This underscores the fact that project management touches every field of work. Staying updated with these tools and knowledge is key to making our work more efficient and impactful. 2️⃣ The Power of Communication: Effective communication is a critical competency for success. It’s not just about sharing information—it’s about ensuring work gets done smoothly and collaboratively. A big thank you to Dr. Ing. Elena Pancera, PMP®, for hosting this valuable session! 💡 My Reflection: This session was a great reminder of the importance of staying curious and continuously building skills to excel in project management and beyond. I’m excited to apply these learnings to make my work even more efficient. Being a practitioner in the field of learning and development, with a focus on #SoftSkills (or #PowerSkills, as PMI aptly calls them), I can wholeheartedly endorse PMI's learning resources as an incredibly rich source for professional growth. If you're a PMI member, I highly recommend exploring their resources. And for those considering project management, this might just be your next step toward growth! #PM #PMI #CommunicationSkills
