🚀 Learning through Rejection: My Recent Experience Today, I want to share a recent experience that taught me invaluable lessons. I worked hard on a task for a company, gave it my best shot. The eight hours hackathon deadline gear me up. Though I have not completed the task fully but submitted it with high hopes. However, the outcome wasn't what I expected—I was rejected. But here's the silver lining: while I didn't land the opportunity, the process taught me so many things. From mastering new technologies to enhancing new codebase problem, every challenge I faced in completing that task contributed to my growth as a developer. Thanks to Ahad Hossain Aiman my friend is an enthusiast Developer who supports me in a few ways. In the end, it's not just about the end result but the journey and the knowledge you acquire along the way. I'm incredibly proud of the progress I've made and look forward to applying these new skills to future opportunities. To everyone facing rejection or failure—don't give up! Every setback is a stepping stone toward growth. 🚀 #NeverStopLearning #GrowthMindset #DeveloperJourney #Resilience #TechJourney #LearningEveryDay

We did it! And I couldn’t be prouder. Over the past few weeks, we’ve run the G3women Beginner DevOps Workshop—a journey of learning, unlearning, and community-building. During our graduation session, hearing the participants share their heartfelt feedback was emotional and deeply fulfilling. One thing they said? “We felt safe". Safe to try, safe to fail, safe to learn, and safe to grow. That sense of connection was what kept them moving forward. For me, as a Women Techmaker Ambassador, this is what makes all the sleepless nights and hard work worth it. It’s what pushes me to keep investing in women. It wasn’t all smooth sailing, though. When Giggles, Glow & Grow (G3 Women) launched this program, we received backlash from some men who complained about it being a women-only program. I hope, now, they understand why we’re doing this. Thank you to Rasheedat Atinuke Jamiu and Salima Rabiu for facilitating the workshop with me and to the women who participated: seeing your excitement about the future and your determination to thrive fills me with hope. I’m beyond excited for your journeys ahead! To others in the tech community: if your company has internship positions available, please reach out. Let’s continue to support these women in breaking barriers and building the tech future they deserve. Finally, when this program started, over 200+ women registered. But due to limited resources and capacity, we could only take in 10%. This experience has fueled us to dream bigger: In 2025, G3women is aiming to empower 1000 women across a variety of tech fields. We’ll need your support—whether in kind, monetary contributions, or sharing your expertise—to make this a reality. Would you be open to this?
