Good afternoon, Please to welcome our distinguished guests, elders, elected officials, stakeholders and partners. In a few short minutes, Cedar LNG will become a reality as the Haisla Nation and Pembina commit to take a positive final investment decision. You have just witnessed history. This is the first indigenous majority owned LNG export facility in the world. That feels so good saying that we, the has a nation, have taken control of our future because of today. Our families and their future families will have a life we never thought possible. We are closer and stronger as a community and together we will prosper and grow. We are so pleased that FEMA is the chosen partner of the Haisla Nation. Cedar LNG is more than simply a project or an LNG facility. It represents a new way of working towards a common goal. Based on shared values. Congratulations to the Haisla Nation, Pembina Pipeline Corporation and everyone at Cedar LNG. Thank you for all your hard work to make so many firsts happen right here in Canada. Cedar LNG is a shining example of how natural resource development should work in our province in full partnership with First Nations, in line with our commitments to fight climate change. By working together, we can make sure a rising tide lifts all boats. Together, we can focus on development that creates new opportunities. Advances reconciliation and respects our environment. And it's because of what this project means to the Highline community. This is historical. I mean, this is a major change for the high SLA. They are a true business partner. To say today is a proud day for Pembina is an understatement. Through our partnership with the Highland. I believe we are redefining how Indigenous communities and the energy industry can work together to bring Canadian energy to the world. I also have my son here today because I believe that this project represents not just this generation, but future generations as well.
