Have you ever experienced an awkward moment when technology feels like a puzzle, while everyone else seems to have it figured out!? 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲 is a common feeling, and it often stems from a few key reasons: 𝙍𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙙 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚: Technology evolves so quickly that it’s hard to keep up. It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed! 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙣: We often see others who seem tech-savvy and can feel inadequate in comparison. Remember, everyone has their own learning curve! 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨: We worry about looking foolish when we don’t get it right the first time. But mistakes are just part of the learning process! 𝙇𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩: Without a supportive environment, it’s easy to feel isolated. A little encouragement can go a long way! Each time we confront a tech hurdle, we cultivate resilience. By learning together, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another, we not only improve our skills but also foster a culture of collaboration and empathy. How have you turned an awkward moment into a learning opportunity? #LearningJourneys #ConfidenceBuilding #CuriousConcepts

TECH SKILLS ARE MEANS TO AN END! Building problem-solving skills is crucial for those in the tech field because it adds value to their technical knowledge. 💡💡 I affirmed this as I noticed the leaders in my organization to be good problem solvers. Analyzing data, building models, developing software, etc., are not the end goals; solving problems is. Technical skills alone are insufficient, but the ability to think critically, analyze problems, and devise effective solutions sets successful tech experts apart. 🎖️🎖️ As you build your technical skills, your problem-solving abilities should be intentionally developed as well. This unlocks your true potential, positioning you for long-term success in an ever-evolving industry.🎯🎯

Staying ahead in a digital world in midlife doesn't mean you need to know every new tech trend or master every piece of software. It's about being open to learning, embracing change, and using technology as a way to enrich your life. My approach to technology is this, "Man made the computer; the computer didn't make man." By adopting a growth mindset, taking small steps, and leveraging the resources around you, you'll find that tech isn't as intimidating as it seems—and you're more than capable of thriving in today's digital landscape. It's easy to feel self-conscious when you're learning something new, especially when it comes to technology. But remember: it's okay to ask for help. Whether you reach out to a tech-savvy friend, a family member, or even a professional, don't hesitate to seek guidance when you need it. Don't Be Afraid to Ask for Help Many tech companies offer customer support through online community forums. They are there to answer your questions and give advice about the products. The key is not to let frustration stop you from learning—there's always someone who's been where you are and is willing to help. #DontBeAfraidtoAskforHelp #TechinMidlife #Problem #Solution #JameelaAdamsAtYourServcice

Ah, the little voice in my head! Every day it's like, "Come on, push yourself a bit more or learn something new! Then I'm like, " Uh!! Who even created all this tech stuff anyway?" Then I start wondering, "Am I even doing it right?" And oh, how does my tiny brain remember all this?! But you know what? We gotta keep upgrading in every domain, it's like a never-ending cycle! Days are like a Friends series famous dialogue! While others enjoying, I'm just making coffee, not even for myself 😂 . But hey, no need for comparisons, Just for fun We're all on the upgrade train, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐒𝐨, 𝐥𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠! #linkedin #tech #technology #learn

Debunking the myth - You need to know every trending technology to stay relevant. I can't tell you the number of times I've heard people believe this myth including budding software engineers that you must stay on top of every trend in technology. But I'm here to pop the bubble for all those with this misunderstanding. Being in this field isn't about chasing every new technology that is introduced, instead, it's all about mastering the core skills that persist over time. If you fidget around with learning every new trend, it'll leave you nowhere. So, avoid being a jack of all trades and master of none. The quicker you understand this concept, the better you'll fare in this industry; otherwise, it'll all get too overwhelming. #software #engineering

Overnight success in tech? Let's debunk that myth. 🚀 The picture of instant expertise in software engineering that's often painted on social media? It's just the tip of the iceberg. Below the surface lies a journey of perseverance, dedication, and countless hours behind screens. 🔍 The Reality? It's about resilience and continuous learning. Talent gets you started, but growth keeps you going. My path in this relentless and rapid world of tech innovation was carved not by avoiding challenges but by embracing them. From unraveling complex algorithms to squashing bugs that tested my limits, it's been a rollercoaster that honed not just my technical skills but my soft skills too - communication, teamwork, adaptability. To the aspiring software engineers: Embrace failure. It's not a setback; it's a setup for a comeback. The road to expertise is fraught with challenges, but trust me, it's worth every step. #SoftwareEngineering #ContinuousLearning #TechCommunity

A weekend thought for all of us, If it’s the nature of the beast in Tech, That mighties fall or become irrelevant ⚠️ Than why do we let the Arrogance of who we work for, Their brand name or market share, Make us act complacent, lazy and entitled It happened to me, When I was at the mothership. I assumed I could do not wrong, And customers valued my opinions, So just walk under the company banner, And give a Sermon to those willing devotees🤯 Boy, was I in for a rude awakening, And now I can see those symptoms in others Are you one of those, Who was good/great A few years ago. But now…you just hope to not get fired. I regularly meet people who Seem to have lost their edge, On technology, business analysis, Project and Program Management. But more importantly… They have lost their hunger, Their zeal and enthusiasm, Their professionalism, And are basically Just hanging In there! I am trying really hard to not be that guy, By constantly learning whatever Areas I am weak in. And I would tell that to anyone Who would care, to do so too. A lot of other professions require Continuing education & training. And while tech does not Mandate it from a Licensing PoV. We owe it to ourselves to do so, Before we fall from the grace, And squander today. Maybe 15 mins today? #weekendmusings #kaizen #selfdevelopment #selfgrowth
