As I travel back from Vienna after a fantastic World Passenger Festival conference, I’ve been reflecting on this eventful month of June, which was rich with events, meetings, and conferences. There were numerous discussions and exchanges about innovation, change, customer experience, transformation, and the challenges and opportunities that come with them, but one of the quotes that I heard repeatedly and that resonated with me was: “New tech is changing the game.” However, I believe this can be further expanded: “New tech and an open mindset are changing the game.” Truly embracing and leveraging innovative technology requires significant change management and an adaptive mindset. This principle applies not just to the travel sector but across all industries.
