#TechTuesday Meet Stephen Samples, a research scientist in the Propulsion Science Department at Aerospace. He tests and characterizes all sizes of electric propulsion devices, ranging from very large Hall-effect thrusters to very small micropropulsion thrusters. From a young age, Stephen was interested in being one of two things: Either serving in the Air Force or becoming an astronaut. As he progressed through his education and into graduate school, he realized his interests in space technology had honed in on EP and CubeSats. One of the best parts about working at Aerospace? "I really enjoy the the culture at Aerospace; we're very collaborative. One of the cool things is everyone's kind of an expert in something. So there's everything you can imagine in the space industry."
