This a great article in Wine Business Monthly. I completely agree. And, the next generations want wine clubs or subscriptions that offer more sense of community or belonging. They want to get social and meet, interact, and share experiences with other club members, even if they are across the country (in fact, some think that's even better). I also find that less wineries are offering affordable events for members to attend. As a local, it doesn't have to be fancy. I'd much rather go to a fun BBQ at a winery than a fancy restaurant for dinner but most winery events are too high-brow and cost prohibitive. Are you a member of a wine club (or two)? What are your thoughts? #wineclub #dtc #winery #subscriptions
