😥 In my first 3 years of being a business owner... I encountered several common challenges that could be avoided. My 5 biggest struggles as a new business owner were 👇🏼 : 1. Mixing up my business and personal income. 2. Feeling alone and lost often. 3. Putting myself under pressure to find success right now. 4. Not knowing what to charge clients. 5. Feeling like my products were not good enough. Anyone reading this who has the same struggles, here's my advice 👇🏼 : 1. Create separate bank accounts to manage the different income sources 2. Reach out to other successful entrepreneurs for help. Don’t d!e alone. 3. Take one day at a time. There is nothing like overnight success.  4. Ask other businesses what they charge or check their social media pages. 5. Collect constructive feedback from your initial clients and improve next time. What else do you struggle with? It’s Small Business Saturday. Everyone on LinkedIn knows at least one small business owner. Ever increasing rates, fuel prices, energy prices and various strikes will make it even tougher for many small businesses to be easily and regularly accessible. Show them you care this Christmas, and all year round for that matter. Spending your hard earned money on their goods or services would be incredible. I try to support my local businesses wherever I can; Buying a coffee at an independent coffee shop rather than a large chain. Buying my meat from my local butcher instead of the supermarket. And so on. People often complain when local services close down but did nothing to support them when they were trading. Yes, local independent businesses may often be slightly more expensive than a large chain but the service is often much better in my experience. Isn’t that worth a slight premium?
