We've started feeling the dry Harmattan season again. About a few days ago, my little sister said that Christmas is smelling. So, if you're like my little sister, who has already started smelling Christmas, then you should start expecting certain things. ✓Dusty weather this season is prone to dustiness due to little or no rainfall. There is a higher risk of respiratory diseases like cough, runny nose, sore throat, and asthma. 📌 Drink water, drink more water, drink more water!!! ✓Acid bug attack (Papa Attack)The acid bug is an insect that is more seen in the dry season. It is also known as papa. It perches, gets slapped by the victim, then splashes a fluid that is likened to acid, which burns the skin. 📌 Avoid the mosquito reflex. We are used to slapping mosquitoes on our skin or anywhere; just avoid that for now. ✓Dry and scaly skin 📌Drink water more frequently! 📌Apply oil and moisturizer to your skin. ✓Cracked Lips. 📌Drink more water!📌 Apply lip balm or gloss. ✓Risk of Conjunctivitis (Apollo)Conjunctivitis is the inflammation of the eyes characterized by redness and swollenness of the eyes. This is the time of the year when people use urine, leaves, and so many other things to combat Apollo. Hehehe....Please, that should stop this year. 📌Take vitamin C and multivitamins to boost your immune system. Protect yourself and the lives of your loved ones this season. Interact with this post and share it with your loved ones and even your enemies. You may save a life; who knows? #nursing #healthylifestyle #publichealth #nursingcontent #LetsGrowTogether
