Addressing the food system is vital to tackling both the climate and nature crises - but it's easier said than done.   Our discussions with Asda and their suppliers and farmers for this project showed a strong appetite across the food supply chain to do more on nature. This guide helps businesses in the sector to take the initial steps on the nature journey.   Despite the complexity of nature, agriculture and the landscape of government and voluntary initiatives there are actions that businesses can take now. This begins with understanding your impact on nature, the risks you face from it's loss and how to address these.

🚜Unsustainable agriculture is one of the main drivers of nature loss, and with the 2030 goal of reversing nature loss looming, it is critical that we start looking at the impact of food systems on nature. Today we're releasing our report in partnership with Asda and four of their food suppliers to understand how they can address nature within their businesses. The complexity of food supply chains and nature's geographic variability make it challenging to map and improve a company's interactions with nature.
