💥 “Ohh, but it looks like you used ChatGPT (a Large Language Model) to write this...” 💥 Ever heard that one? It’s all too common – and here’s why it happens: If you ask an LLM, “Write a 500-word blog on [topic],” you’re going to get an average response. One prompt, one answer – no iterations, no refinement, no analysis. It's like expecting a gourmet meal from a microwave. 😛 But what if you could level up with Agentic Workflows? 🧠 Here’s where advanced prompt engineering transforms the game. An Agentic Workflow isn’t just about throwing a prompt and hoping for the best. It’s a well structured, multi-agent approach that breaks tasks into smaller, manageable steps, incorporating techniques like chain of thought, task planning, and self-reflection to get outputs that actually hit the mark. Each AI agent works on a specific part of the task, ensuring every step is reviewed, improved, and precisely executed. 🌟 Take blog writing as an example: 🔹 Traditional Zero-Shot Prompt: “Write a blog on [topic].” The AI gives one-shot output – quick but lacking depth, no quality checks, no room for iterative improvement. 🔹 Agentic Workflow: Research credible sources Create a detailed outline with headings/sub-headings Review and modify the structure Draft, edit, and refine – step by step Each step’s output serves as the next input, transforming a single shot into a thoughtful, polished piece. That’s AI-driven quality control in action. Why does this matter? ➡️ Quality gains: Less guesswork, more refinement ➡️ Increased relevance: No one-off solutions; each agent fine-tunes the output to fit the needs ➡️ Strategic insight: Enables a comprehensive, multi-layered response to complex challenges The future of AI lies not in single-shot prompts but in collaborative, agentic workflows that add real value to every output. Imagine scaling this in business processes across industries! 😍 So, the next time you hear, "Ohh, but you just used AI for that,” you can smile and know your output went through a rigorous, intelligent process – not a one-prompt wonder. #AI #AgenticWorkflows #PromptEngineering #FutureOfAI #LLMs #Productivity

Let’s talk about something I hear often when it comes to AI assistants—maybe this is you, too. "Why should I spend time teaching AI to do something I can already do myself? I can brainstorm ideas, proofread my content, or analyse my data just fine." Sure, you can. But here’s the thing: the true value of AI isn’t in these individual tasks. It’s not just about offloading one job at a time. The real power of AI lies in building systems that work together. By automating small, repetitive tasks—like writing RFQs, creating case studies, or conducting client market research—you’re laying the foundation for a smarter, more integrated AI agent that knows you, your priorities, and how you work. When you’re ready to focus on bigger, more strategic initiatives, your AI agent will already be trained to handle the smaller stuff, delivering exactly what you need, when you need it. Not sure where to start? Tools like ChatGPT with actions, OpenAI Playground, or Google AI Studio are great for experimenting and testing prompts. The sooner you begin building these mini task systems, the smoother your transition to full-scale AI agents will be—agents that forward-thinking companies are already using to stay ahead. So, what’s one task you’ve handed off to AI so far? Let me know in the comments.

People get confused about where to start with AI. Now you might have tried ChatGPT, but perhaps you aren’t sure how to leverage AI for the benefit of your business. So here’s a good way to think about it. First we need to bear this in mind: AI isn't for directors. It’s really a tool for your employees. So as a director, it’s important to work with employees to get a clear picture about the current ways of working. This will help you identify where the real opportunities are. Because there is a risk of trying to run before you can walk with AI. And it's key that any application has a real business impact. So how do we get started? It’s really about finding the right use cases. And measuring things before and after implementation to avoid wasting time. Here's a great first question to ask yourself: ↳ Where do you currently have a lot of material or time wastage in your core processes? The answer to this question provides a great starting point. Once you've found some potential use cases (and assessed the key business benefits), you can then map them to existing tools and processes. And if this is something you want external support with, we can help you identify opportunities to use AI at 1101. P.S What are the best AI use cases you have found? Let us know in the comments.

As I continue to get questions about AI, the resources below from Allie K. Miller are just what the doctor ordered to boost your productivity. Sharing to my wider network, and I highly recommend following Allie.

I save hours every single day using AI tools. And there are different types: there are AI tools that boost many tasks (like ChatGPT), an entire role type (like Unwrap AI or Abridge), and specific tasks (like Elicit). The best arsenal is a mix of all of them. A new “Top AI Tools” website called WhatAICanDoToday is gaining steam letting users search among over 30,000 tasks that AI can do and finding tools for it. Here’s the site: https://lnkd.in/eacun3fq I searched “infographic” and found Infography to test it out onto recent Forbes article. My continued advice: it’s not just about learning one AI tool. It’s about finding a way to discover, narrow, test, measure, and improve among thousands. Just like we do with websites and apps. And if you want my top list of AI tools for AI-first workflows, we built this page just for you 👉 https://lnkd.in/eefC28vi
