For me, Mr. Arun Diaz, an esteemed alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur (1973), has been more than a mentor—he has been a guiding light in my life. His influence and encouragement have inspired me to pursue aspirations I once considered beyond my reach due to self-doubt, including completing my MBA at XLRI. His belief in my potential has consistently motivated me to dream bigger, fight harder, and aim higher. Arun Sir's journey is truly inspirational. A seasoned banker who worked with global financial institutions like Standard Chartered, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Aavishkaar Group, one of the largest impact platforms in Asia and Africa. The group includes Aavishkaar Capital, India’s largest social venture capital fund, and Intellecap, a global impact advisory firm. He serves on the boards of several enterprises and has mentored countless business leaders. Recently, I had the privilege of celebrating my book, From Unknown to Unforgettable, with him and take his blessings—a heartfelt moment that reminded me of how fortunate I am to have his encouragement and wisdom in my life. Thank you, Arun Sir, for being an extraordinary mentor and an incredible human being. I admire your kindness, humility, and generosity. 🙏 I hope this book inspires and guides many startup founders to create admirable brands that make India proud. Book Link: https://amzn.to/4dYIftM
