Yesterday I was guest at the Intermodal Meetup hosted by Modility GmbH. Thank you very much for the interesting discussion about Corporate Startup Collaborations Ronja Stoffregen, Hendrik-Emmanuel Eichentopf and Martin Neuendorf as well as the invitation Nils Funke. 💡 I observe that more an more companies are practicing the Venture Clienting approach. What is interesting for me: Assuming that many core business problems are similar across companies, everybody is looking for the same solutions. 🤝 It therefore makes sense to join forces within an industry in order to find common solutions. I could imagine that Multi Corporate Venture Clienting could be the next evolution of this approach. 💫 We have been using a very similar approach for two years now in our Energy Transmission Ecosystem – and so far that leads to an increased innovation speed by lower cost.

It’s always rewarding to witness how much impact a program can have—not just on startups, but on the world around us. For Alternō, their experience earlier this year was about refining their solution. As Co-Founder and CEO Hai Ho shared, “Another thing we’re grateful for is that we learned so much. We’re a different company now.” Through customized mentorship and learning modules, Alternō's low-cost thermal energy storage solution grew stronger, closer to market, and closer to delivering real environmental benefits. The ripple effects of this journey go beyond the startup’s own success—they’re contributing to the larger fight against climate change. Seeing startups like Alternō develop solutions that can ultimately benefit the planet reminds us of why this work is so important. It’s about fostering innovation with a purpose, and we’re proud to be part of a journey that supports both growth and positive environmental impact. #PepsiCo #GreenhouseAccelerator #PepsiCoGHAC2024 #sustainability
