It has been my privilege to speak on Tuesday, 12 November, on behalf of the Επιτροπή Κεφαλαιαγοράς _ Hellenic Capital Market Commission in the annual IIA Greece Conference at a fireside chat with Anthony Pugliese and Michail Bletsas focusing on the role of the internal auditor, the changes in the relevant profession and our view of how the internal auditor of the future should be. Our Moderators Aris Dimitriadis and Mary Papakonstantinou posed questions regarding a number of relevant issues and we had the chance to speak about the challenges of the work of the internal auditor from different perspectives each. My view regarding the internal auditor of the future is that she/he should always have the integrity and ethics required for this role and also be in a position to adapt to changes occurring due to technological evolution of the way companies operate and leverage technology in improving the work of internal auditing. As I mentioned in the Conference Hirakleitos has first analyzed the power of change.
