Pumpkin picking 🎃 is like navigating the recruitment process. There’s an endless selection out there—different shapes, sizes, and qualities. That young lady could have easily spent hours sifting through every pumpkin! But just like in life, time is valuable. Luckily, this wasn’t my first pumpkin rodeo 🎃. I knew what we needed for the house, thanks to the clear assignment from her mother. So, with my screening experience, I shortlisted (put in a wheelbarrow!) a selection of perfectly-sized, perfectly-orange pumpkins for my "client" (my niece) to choose from! 🎃👻 I’m a summer kid at heart, but when spooky season rolls around, I gravely shift gears and fully embrace the ghoul times! 🎃💀 This year I bought some bone-afide skeleton trophies 🦴 and this weekend I’ll be driving around, handing out dead-icated awards to the most spooktacular yard displays in town! 🏆💀 I’ve come up with 6 fun, spooky prizes to celebrate the creativity and community spirit in my area: 1. Graveyard Greatness 🪦 – For the most hauntingly realistic or eerily creative yard. 2. Witchin’ It Was My Yard Award 🧙♀️ – For the yard that makes everyone wish they had done it first. 3. We all know how important it is to build and nurture our digital communities—whether it’s through professional networks, social media engagement, or virtual collaborations. But it’s just as essential to foster connection and creativity in our local communities too.
