Concussions are a significant issue in both amateur and elite sports, and more research is needed to identify effective markers to ensure the health and well-being of athletes. That's why the 'Return to Play' Innovation Booster Sport & Physical Activity, initiated by SpArk in collaboration with Bearmind, was so fruitful. This event marked the beginning of the Design Thinking process to improve safety protocols for concussed athletes. Diverse stakeholders, including athletes and sports medicine experts, participated in a day-long challenge to share expertise and ideas, all focused on ensuring the safe return of concussed athletes to competition.
