There is a growing interest in #qualityimprovement collaboratives (QICs), even though less remains known about contextual factors that impact collective and local project implementation. A study was undertaken that used the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) to explore the contextual factors impacting the use of this nationwide QIC in Canada. This paper provides insights into contextual factors that impact the implementation of local safety projects involved in a larger QIC, which may serve as a template or #blueprint for #healthcareleaders in their efforts to guide the co-design, implementation and evaluation of safety and QI efforts. 🌍 EUPATI is teaching relevant stakeholders to collaborate with patients across cultures 🌟 On December 11, EUPATI will host Module 2 of our Essentials Training, part of our training portfolio targeting Industry and Academia professionals. Stakeholders sometimes lack the know-how to properly and efficiently engage patients in the appropriate phases of the medecines lifecycle. With this hands-on session, members gain the following knowledge: - A stronger understanding of how culture shapes communication and healthcare interactions. - Insights into the current cultural challenges in clinical trials and patient engagement. - Practical strategies for fostering inclusive and meaningful collaborations with patients. - Best practices and examples to improve your engagement across diverse settings. ️ Why does this matter? In today’s globalised world, understanding cultural diversity is essential for building stronger partnerships with patients and advancing healthcare outcomes. For example, religious beliefs can impact a individuals treatment choice, ethnicity can play a part in one’s response to a treatment and lack of literacy can restrain someone from participating in a clinical trial. 💡 Join us on December 11 from 14:00 to 18:00 CET for this interactive online training and gain practical tools, real-world insights, and valuable skills to make your patient engagement a prerogative in your workplace. 👉 Register here: https://bit.ly/4fYRcov #PatientInvolvement #HealthcareInnovation #EUPATIESSENTIALS #AdvancedTraining #Academia #Pharma #PatientEngagement

In AIPC-2024 it's a great opportunity to meet the eminent speakers who have the knowledge and experience in implementing and promoting collaborative education and practice in healthcare. IPE (Interprofessional Education) and IPP (Interprofessional Practice) are concepts in healthcare that aim to improve collaboration and teamwork among healthcare professionals. IPE involves bringing together students or practitioners from different healthcare disciplines to learn with, from, and about each other. It promotes effective communication, teamwork, and mutual respect. IPP, on the other hand, is the actual collaborative practice of healthcare professionals from different disciplines. It involves the active participation and cooperation of multiple professionals in assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care. IPE and IPP are essential for breaking down professional silos, addressing the complexity of healthcare, and providing holistic and patient-centered care. Reflecting on the EU HTAR Pilot training 💡 Back in June, Carolyn Ingram and Mitchell Silva, PhD introduced everyone to the first pilot training session on behalf of EUPATI, on the EU HTA Regulation, during the Digestive Cancers Europe Masterclass in Munich. At the end of the session, they shared their reflections on the training and their key takeaways: - High Engagement: Participants were active and engaged, asking numerous questions about the regulation, showing a real urgency and interest in understanding the subject better. - Complex Topics Addressed: Discussions highlighted grey areas, like conflicts of interest, which sparked curiosity and debate among participants. - Interactive Learning: The session wasn’t just about presenting information—it also featured an interactive Q&A portion where many insightful questions arose. - Focus on Practical Application: Emphasis was placed on not just understanding the regulations but also building skills to interpret scientific documentation and apply these regulations effectively in real-world advocacy. - Future Improvements: Suggestions for future sessions include providing more concrete materials, like printed propositions, and addressing questions on implementing acts directly. Overall, the session was dense but well-received. Participants left with a stronger foundation for navigating health technology assessments. 🌟 We look forward to providing more of these trainings, most of which will be online, in the months to come! 📅 Mark your calendars! Online training sessions kick off in September 2024. ✨️ I'm thrilled to share that I’ve completed the Fast Track Training "Health Technology Assessment" course organised by EUCAPA. (#EUCAPA is a joint effort of three organisations dedicated to advancing healthcare for patients through Health Technology Assessment (HTA) training. The consortium includes the European Organisation for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS-Rare Diseases Europe), the #EPF (European Patients' Forum), and #UMIT #TIROL - Private Universität für Gesundheitswissenschaften, Medizinische Informatik und Technik , Austria) 🚀 This EUCAPA program has enriched my understanding of evaluating the medical, social, economic, and ethical implications of healthcare interventions. 📊 If you know anything about me, then you know I love to educate myself, as it empower me to advocate for patient-centered care and rare disease solutions, areas I am passionate about. It also deepens my ability to work with healthcare professionals and stakeholders in making informed decisions that impact patients' lives. 💡 📚 Learning is a continuous journey, and this is one more step toward advancing patient advocacy and engagement through knowledge and collaboration. I look forward to applying these insights in future projects! #HealthTech #HTA #PatientAdvocacy #HealthcareInnovation #LifelongLearning #RareDiseases #MedicalInnovation
