The most Important Meal of the Day is Breakfast! I don't Agree with that! My morning ritual isn't about scrambled eggs or toast. ✅I feast on Feedback! And it has become the fuel for my personal brand, here’s how: ⤵ - Every morning, as I sip my tea (yes, I’m a tea guy) ☕ I dive into a buffet of feedback from clients, colleagues, and mentors. It begins with a simple question: ✅ “How can I serve you better?” The responses were eye-opening. Each suggestion, becomes part of the foundation of my personal brand. With every constructive critique, I saw an opportunity to: ✅ Improve ✅ Refine ✅ Excel. It wasn’t always easy to digest, but it's always enlightening. I learned to embrace it, to let it challenge me, and to let it change me. Now, I don’t just ask for feedback. I crave it. It has become a ritual, a daily practice that keeps me grounded and growing. It’s not just about being better at what I do; it’s about becoming the best version of myself. So here’s my invitation to you: Make feedback your breakfast, too. Start your day with a dose of reality and watch how it transforms your personal brand. P.s: Tea or Coffee? #PersonalBrand #Feedback #ProfessionalGrowth

Feedback—we ask for it, we want it, but receiving and processing it can be challenging. What if we could have our cake and eat it too? To use feedback constructively, we might need to grapple with it first before we can embrace and find comfort in it. #feedback #ego #productivefeedback #growthmindset

💡 Word of the Day: Acidulous Did you know "acidulous" means slightly sour or sharp in taste or tone? Whether describing a tangy flavor or a cleverly sharp comment, this word packs a punch! In our fast-paced, ever-evolving industry, it's a great reminder that a little sharpness can bring clarity and precision when used wisely—just like a touch of acidity enhances a dish. How do you balance being "acidulous" with maintaining positivity in your communication or work style? I'd love to hear your thoughts! #Leadership #Communication #ProfessionalGrowth #WordOfTheDay

"We're gonna need a bigger boat!" I’ve started a new practice and I’m trying to figure out if I should call it “Catching a catch-up” or “Fishing for my friends.” The concept is simple! When I’m in my truck for a drive that is longer than ten minutes, I pick someone I’ve been “meaning to catch-up with” and cast my metaphorical line with a phone call. If I catch them great! If not, I’ll try someone else. What I’ve found is that unlike fish, the people I miss WILL call me back! This required a mind-set shift for me, and I must thank my friend Brian Meece for this one! Prior to my fishing adventures I would make assumptions that whoever I’ve “meant to catch up with” was too busy for a call or that I should text first for “availability” which of course meant I would forget or get distracted and never even try. I’m certainly not speaking for everyone, but I personally feel like I’ve scheduled myself into seclusion and as someone who loves people, that sucks! Shrimp, stink bait, worms, or those funny plastic ones with the giant eyes, it’s your choice! Attach one to the end of your line and see who you catch next time you’ve got a minute or more importantly, NEED a minute. If you haven’t heard from me yet, don’t worry, you’re on the list but I’ve got a lot of “catching” up to do – see what I did there?? ? 😉 Special thanks to Rob Rens for saying, "That would make a great post!" when we caught up last week! #communication #reconnect #friends #leadership #communicationdevelopment #leadershipdevelopment #teambuilding #teamdevelopment

Why is my dishwasher flashing? I never turned it on. Classic move of getting ready and no follow through. It’s the same as giving feedback. We intend to give more positive feedback but get wrapped up in our day and don’t follow through. So remind yourself, set a reminder on your phone, leave a note on your desk to “give positive feedback.” Then follow through. Catch someone doing something right. Pause and give them specific positive feedback. What are some other tips to make this happen throughout your day? #feedback
