Maternal mortality is tragic and preventable. The United States has the highest maternal mortality rate among developed nations, and rates are 2.5-3 times higher for Black and American Indian and Alaska Native women compared to non-Hispanic whites. I applaud and support the actions of HHS and the Department's commitment to improve maternal health and advance health equity. https://lnkd.in/gMvbsjmF Let's work together to improve maternal health. https://lnkd.in/gyd-rKqK
