No solid matter exists at this level of energy: everything is connected here by threads of energy. Magic becomes the manipulation and control of these threads of energy. Whenever Clarisse (or anyone else) creates changes to these energy threads, it produces effects that happen within the physical plane. She views it as a type of art of causation – as opposed to the sleight of hand or magic as an art of illusion.  As Clarisse accidentally discovered early on, magic is a natural human ability that everyone is born with (to make magic). The desire to learn and practice is all it takes to be successful at it. Reading Cold Riechelmann’s little,precious book “Il corvo” (Marsilio ed.) I learned that the raven in Japan defends itself from the distruction of nests by violent water jets, by getting clothes hangers. Brilliant! The hangers fit well together and anchor to the branches. There is an architecture of #resilience, #care, #prevention.
