More recyclable materials end up in landfills, slowing down progress toward sustainability goals. 💰 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗼 𝗥𝗢𝗜: Brands may invest in advanced, sustainable packaging solutions, but if the recycling infrastructure can't support them, these innovations don’t yield the environmental or financial returns expected, discouraging further investment in sustainability. In a highly competitive market, brands may be tempted to follow a cost-cutting strategy rather than making sustainability a priority. 🏭 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Authorities are often slow to update regulations to accommodate new materials, delaying widespread adoption and leaving the industry without the necessary support to scale solutions. 🌍 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆: When innovation, infrastructure, and consumer understanding don’t align, the circular economy model breaks down.
