Did you know that nearly $90 trillion worth of assets are set to change hands over the next 20 years? And on this International Women's Day, it's worth noting that women are going to be the majority recipients of this great intergenerational wealth transfer. My name's Amelia Lee and I'm head of product at Air Wealth, which is a wealth register that allows families to record and visualise their assets so that they have visibility while they're alive, but also so when the head of the family, traditionally the man, passes away. Everyone in the family, whether they're financially literate or not, knows exactly what the family has and where it is. A lot of women, particularly of the older generation, find themselves unprepared when it comes to taking over managing the wealth of a family.
