As another year comes to an end the Held In Our Hearts team has been reflecting on the year we have had, the stories which have touched our hearts and the amazing people who have made our support of bereaved parents possible 🌈 We would like to take this opportunity to give our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to you – our exceptional Held In Our Hearts community. ✨Whether you are one of our runners, one of our volunteers, a supporter in our local community, a funder, a supportive business or organisation, a member of the press, or someone who is simply moved by the work we do – THANK YOU!✨ You have supported our charity in so many ways this year at a time when accessing funding has been harder than ever and our costs for running the charity to enable us to continue to offer the level of support we do is at an all-time high. We are truly grateful for all your incredible support. Perhaps you ran for us, swam for us, baked for us – regardless of how you did it you helped us to support more bereaved parents than ever before. Your efforts will have made a difference to so many bereaved families who are at the heart of everything we do here at Held In Our Hearts. 💖You have all made the work we do possible, and we know this will continue into 2025. We can truly say that our community is based on our core values of empathy, connection and love 💖 Thank you for your continued support. Love Team Held In Our Hearts x

During challenging times, it’s easy to focus on our own struggles, but today, I find myself reflecting on just how blessed I am to still have a home to return to each day 🏠. A place of warmth, safety, and stability—things we often take for granted until we realize not everyone has them. This is a picture of my apartment complex. Last Thursday could’ve changed my whole life. It was a sobering reminder of how quickly everything can shift and how fragile stability truly is. I’m grateful to have come out of it with my home and my loved ones safe ❤️, but so many others aren’t as fortunate. So many people are facing unimaginable hardships—living in uncertainty, without a roof over their heads, or struggling to hold onto what little they have left. It’s a humbling reminder that life’s circumstances can change in an instant , and none of us are immune to these challenges. This is why compassion and empathy are more important than ever 🤝. Small acts of kindness can make a world of difference: offering a listening ear, donating what we can, or simply acknowledging someone’s humanity. These gestures ripple outward, creating a sense of connection and hope in times that can feeling isolating and overwhelming 🌟. Let’s choose to see each other with open hearts ❤️🩹recognizing that today we may be in a position to help, but tomorrow we could be the ones in need. Sharing our compassion doesn’t just lift others—it lifts us all. We I’ve added the LAFD Foundation 🚒 to my list of causes to support. They do incredible work for those in crisis, and every bit helps. If you’ve been blessed today, let it inspire you to bless someone else. Together, we can weave a stronger, more caring community that stands resilient in even the hardest times. The way of love 1 Corinthians 13 King James Version 13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

The threshold wealth.. A point comes when a person has enough possessions for himself and his progeny.. That is the point of threshold wealth.. The more understanding comes with it.. The more satisfaction comes with it.. The more goodness comes with it.. The more kindness comes with it.. The more devotion comes with it.. The more empathy comes with it.. The more helping comes with it.. The more charity comes with it.. The more love comes with it.. It may come at any age or never.. The only thing is the judgment of that threshold point is very important.. Otherwise it is a hedonic treadmill.. Never ending quest of accumulation.. How far are you from point of threshold wealth.. (you can have a self assesment) Do Follow TK ❤️.. Tushar Kamble

It sounds like you're reflecting on the passing of a loved one, referring to them as "bro." Losing someone close can be incredibly difficult. Remembering them fondly and honoring their memory can bring comfort. If you'd like to talk more about your bro, I'm here to listen. Sharing stories or memories can be therapeutic. Some suggestions to honor their memory: 1. Share stories and memories with family and friends. 2. Create a memory book or scrapbook. 3. Plant a tree or garden in their name. 4. Make a donation to a charity that resonates with their values. 5. Hold a memorial or celebration of life. Remember, grief is unique to each person. Take your time, and seek support when needed. Would you like more resources or support?

Good morning LinkedIn family. As God continues to reveal how I can best serve him he has led me these past few months to post devotionals, Scriptures and prayers to encourage and strengthen those facing unemployment, financial hardship or other challenges. Today allow me to share the following Start your day spending time with God in prayer, thankfulness and praise. Spend no more then three hours job searching. Exercise, walk, jog or workout. Spend an hours with spouse, children or a close friend. Spend an hour of you time. Read a book, listen to gospel music or smooth soft music. Spend a few hours volunteering at a shelter or Faith based non-profit (weekly). Before bedtime spend time listening to God then ask Him to direct you path. Modify suggestions to fit your day. The goal is to reduce anxiety, fear, stress and worry. Your brother in Christ.

This video beautifully highlights the purity that children possess and the crucial role of adult influence in shaping their futures. Children naturally embody qualities like love, kindness, and acceptance, but as they grow, they absorb the behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes modeled by the adults around them. When adults show them examples of worry, fear, or prejudice, these can take root. On the other hand, if children are surrounded by kindness, tolerance, and empathy, they learn to carry these qualities into adulthood, fostering a society that is more compassionate and just. #mentoring #coaching #leadership #humanresources #management #ceo The society we aspire to—one that is inclusive, understanding, and kind—begins with the responsibility we have as adults to nurture these values in children. Our actions, words, and choices serve as a template for how they navigate the world. If we give our children the best examples to follow, we set the foundation for a better future.

📝Sharing is actually Caring!🔥 In this world we live, being able to give to others is sometimes seen as “charity” but there's more to just giving. Being able to share from what we have is being able to understand the situation that others are currently in and through sharing we are able to take part in the #experience of others and put a smile on their face. Being caring allows us to have #empathy for others and to live a life based on affection, love, and #compassion for the people around us. When we share our feelings, knowledge and possessions with others, we create a relationship of trust, which in most cases flows back and helps us feel secure and happy. Sharing is Caring: The Key to Personal and Professional Growth In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to focus solely on personal success. But true growth—both personally and professionally—comes when we care enough to share opportunities with others. By fostering an environment of trust, value, and mutual respect, we not only build stronger relationships but also help others rise. Whether it's sharing knowledge, opportunities, or support, the impact goes beyond individual success—creating a healthier, more committed work environment for everyone. Let's remember: when we help others grow, we grow too. 🌱 #SharingIsCaring #GrowthMindset #WorkCulture #TrustAndvalue @brainTenxcel

🤔 Ever had that moment when someone shared WAY too much about their weekend plans with their cat during a Monday morning meeting? raises hand awkwardly Oscar Wilde once said, "A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal." (Pretty sure he'd have interesting thoughts about today's social media oversharing 😅) 🎯 My Recent "Should I Share This?" Adventures: ✅ Worth Sharing: 1. Team struggles that others can learn from 2. Solutions to common problems 3. Genuine wins (without the humble brag) 4. Resources that actually help others ❌ Maybe Keep These to Yourself: 1.What you had for breakfast (unless you're a food influencer) 2. Every single thought that crosses your mind 3. The 47 drafts of your email 4. Your strong opinions about the office coffee machine (learned this one the hard way!) 💡 My New Sharing Filter Questions: 1. Will this help someone? 2. Is this the right time? 3. Is this the right audience? 4. Am I sharing for the right reasons? 5. Did anyone actually ask for this? 🌟 Personal Growth Moment: Started using a "24-hour rule" - if I still think it's share-worthy after 24 hours, then maybe it is! (This has saved me from sharing my 3 AM "brilliant" ideas multiple times 😅) The Plot Twist: Sometimes NOT sharing is the most professional thing you can do. Mind. Blown. 🤯 Who else has a funny "I probably shouldn't have shared that" story? Drop it below!
