Supposedly indivisible human rights have become a distant dream for us. ‏We in Gaza do not ask for the impossible, but we demand our rights guaranteed by international laws: the right to life, the right to security, and the right to live in dignity. We demand that the world be seen as part of the humanity he speaks of, not just numbers in news reports or passing headlines. ‏Our message today to all living hearts, to every human conscience: extend a helping hand to the people of Gaza, be our support in the face of injustice and siege.
