Yes, yes and yes. The customer / patient experience is critical. Are your partners delivering the best possible experience to your patients AFTER they leave your office? Think about that when selecting your partners to serve the needs of your patients. Sometimes less is more and ongoing engagement and support is what keeps your patients happy and helps ensure best possible outcomes.

The 2024 Prevent Blindness Focus on Eye Health Summit kicked off today with the first session focusing on Patient Voice featuring Stacey Lee, JD. Her insights were truly inspiring, and as a patient advocate myself, I wholeheartedly agree with everything she shared. Regardless of the illness or location, patients must advocate for themselves. If unable to, entrust someone you trust with this task. Patients, who undergo illness or rare diseases like myself, are the ones who can best articulate their experiences, how it impacts them, and how healthcare professionals can assist. Patients live the experience Patients are the experts The patient's voice is crucial It's essential for all healthcare professionals to hear their patients' voices, as each journey is unique and cannot be solely defined by medical records or evidence. #preventblindess #raredisease #patientvoice #patientperspective #hcp
