FemFestival 2024 — you were fantastic! I spent the day surrounded by inspiring individuals and engaging conversations. I’m grateful for the chance to be part of the "Taking Back Our Voices" panel, led by the wonderful Louise Lai. It was a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and share stories within such a dynamic and supportive community! Some unforgettable insights from our panel session: ✨ Value Diverse Strengths: Amy Leach emphasised the importance of celebrating each person’s unique strengths in the workplace. She urged us to rethink how we enable everyone’s potential, broadening what it means to support each person’s contribution. ✨ Set Boundaries: I shared an important lesson in letting go—reminding us that saying yes to everything can keep us from noticing what truly needs improvement. Sometimes, letting things fail can spark the growth we need. ✨ Be Unapologetically Bold: Jane Trenaman encouraged stepping forward boldly, even as a minority voice, and not letting internalised doubts hold us back. Her words reminded us that we belong in every room we walk into. ✨ Just Show Up: Yvonne Luu inspired us with the simplicity of showing up, reminding us that half the work is just being present. Once we’re there, we can handle the rest.
