Being a branch manager, it is essential to create the best possible environment for your team. It's not just about hitting targets, although that's equally important, it's about fostering a space where people feel valued and genuinely happy to come to work. What I've found to work are two very obvious concepts, but they are principles for any workplace to run effectively. First, my door is always open (virtually or literally!), and I encourage open dialogue. Secondly, happy team, happy work!
