Engr. Kevin P. Abelong, Project-in-charge for the 20 Storey Commercial Building, talks about MAC's ability to simplify and speed up work while the AluFix combines durability with great concrete finishes. "You will really appreciate the MAC [system] because of the fast jack-ups, one hour maximum. Before, we needed to assemble scaffolding, assemble the formwork, remove the scaffold, and strip." Another aspect of the MAC he liked is the "safety feature because of the screen, especially since the wall we're working on is on the perimeter. Also, because of the built in platform, there's already a dedicated working area." He also talks about the AluFix, "I have good experiences with AluFix and the long-term usage because of its durability. On top of that, the concrete finish it achieves is very different from that of boards. The finish is really nice because of the alkus sheet. There aren't a lot of honeycombs. Not to mention the excess cost in using phenolic boards.
