🚨 **Tibial Eminence Fracture** 🚨 Tibial eminence fractures happen when the bony attachment of the ACL gets injured, commonly seen in young athletes 🏃♂️. 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗜𝗢-𝗥𝗦𝗔 The customized BIO-RSA involves a slight modification of the traditional BIO-RSA method described by Pascal Boileau. Typically, BIO-RSA employs a cutting guide with two slots (symmetric 7 mm and 10 mm, and an asymmetric 10mm x 12.5°) for producing the bone graft. In cases of combined or severe glenoid bone deficiency, compensating for the glenoid defects with wedge bone grafts or metal augmentation can be challenging. To overcome this, I opt not to use the BIO-RSA cutting guide, allowing for the utilization of the entire thickness of the resected humeral head. The graft is harvested using the BIO-RSA reamer, skipping the use of the BIO-RSA cut guide, and proceeding directly to humeral head resection with either intramedullary or extramedullary cut guides (perform stem, Stryker) Utilizing BLUEPRINT 3D Planning software, the glenoid defects are measured, and the desired offset is determined. Subsequently, the bone graft is adjusted accordingly to produce a patient-specific, customized BIO-RSA.
